My partner and I LOVE coming here. The food is delicious and the staff is always so friendly. The Moroccan burger is my absolute favourite, but everything else I’ve tried from Casa Blanca has left me saying “yum” whenever I have a bite. If you haven’t tried Casa Blanca yet, you’re missing out!

I had to leave a review for this place! I tried the traditional Moroccan Pastilla, and it was fantastic—crispy layers with a perfect mix of sweet and savory flavors. For dessert, I went with Amlou, and the last time I had Amlou this good was in Marrakesh The food here really takes you back.

Delightful experience which took us back to our trip to Morocco in the spring. Great authentic food tastes, from staff who care about your experience. The upstairs is the best seating, but could be problematic for people with walking disabilities. The Moroccan spices are NOT HOT like Indian food, they are more subtle and varied. They also use honey, cinnamon, nuts, and and other flavours in their cooking. As you enter the restaurant you even get the fragrant spell of Moroccan blossoms. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Casablanca Restaurant in Halifax, and I must say it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped inside, I was warmly greeted and immediately felt a welcoming ambiance that set the tone for a memorable dining experience. The menu at Casablanca Restaurant offers a delectable variety of Moroccan dishes that will tantalize your taste buds. Each dish was prepared with utmost care and expertise, showcasing the rich flavors and aromatic spices that are characteristic of Moroccan cuisine. I had the pleasure of trying their lamb tagine, and it was a true masterpiece. The tender meat, perfectly cooked, and the blend of spices created a symphony of flavors that left me wanting more. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that every bite was a satisfying and fulfilling experience. The service at Casablanca Restaurant was impeccable. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions I had, making me feel well taken care of throughout my dining experience. The food was delicious and represented indeed authentic high quality Moroccan food / home made style. However, the prices are a bit high. I was disappointed because they do not have a kids menu with an accustomed price as kids do not eat all the ingredients added to the Moroccan Burger they have. The atmosphere is embedded with nice Moroccan emblematic and traditional decor. I would rather like it with more light, though. Also, the toilet did not have warm water to wash our hands. The water was freezing cold.

Pros: authentic Moroccan food and music, delicious food, great service, cozy comfortable space Cons: small space/not many tables so it could be too crowded to get in Be aware Moroccan is not fast food; if you're in a hurry, eat somewhere else. If you can wait for your food this place is worth it. The space is very cozy and comfortable. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a tasty meal with your favorite people. The bathroom is rather nice, clean and pleasing to the eye. Most of the seating is upstairs, but they do have a table downstairs. Please give this place a try; the time and are worth it!

This place offers a unique dining experience. The Moroccan burger is one of the best we’ve ever had. This experience made our visit to Halifax exceptional. The service is lovely and personalized, with warm and welcoming staff. The atmosphere is cozy, and the small size adds to its charm. You wouldn’t expect such top-tier dining here, but it stands out. The Moroccan cuisine, which was voted best in the world this year, lives up to its reputation. I wish they had more locations in Canada. If you enjoy delicious and unique food, visit this gem. I absolutely adore this exotic dining experience! The wait staff was more than nice to us. They explained what was in each dish so you know exactly what you are getting. Highly recommend the Moroccan salad. The lamb shank was also delicious.
